In this ninety-minute workshop, you will create a summary of your story, then build it out into the beginnings of a full outline using the “Inside Outline” tool.
Outlining: some people love it, others avoid it entirely. Whatever your style, the tools provided in this workshop can help you design and understand your novel’s plot.
We’ll look not only at what happens in the story, but also why it happens, how it’s important to the main character, and make sure the events create narrative drive.

This workshop uses steps twelve through fourteen of The Blueprint for a Book by Jennie Nash, founder of Author Accelerator. The complete Blueprint outlines fourteen steps to plan your novel from the inside out. You do not need to have completed the earlier Blueprint steps to attend this workshop and find it useful.
