This November, we’ve got a cool idea: we want to launch our own writing challenge (30 Days to 30K) inside the LegendFiction community.

We actually started LegendHaven in October to inspire authors before November. Since NaNoWriMo is no longer an option, we’re keeping that energy alive our own way.

Here’s how it works: join us for 30 days and work toward a 30,000 words. No one’s judging or looking over shoulders. Join writers helping other writers build the habit that every storyteller dreams about.

Let’s write together

Whether you’re drafting your first novel, a novella, or a series of short stories, this month is about writing together.

• We’ll set aside a dedicated space just for this challenge

• You get daily check-ins from your host

• You can swap progress, drafts, and encouragement

• Or you can totally not share anything with anyone. Your call.

Write 1,000 words a day. That’s it. Every time you log in, you’ll build an activity your streak on a built-in progress tracker. Stay consistent for the full month, and you’ll earn digital badges every 7 days. For example; here’s mine so far:

Your Host: Trey McIntosh

Trey “T.D.” McIntosh is a Fantasy and Sci-Fi novelist, manga author, and freelance writer with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. A passionate storyteller and worldbuilder, he blends his love of fantasy, film, and music into every tale he creates.

He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, where he honed his craft and developed his distinctive voice for mythic, character-driven fiction. Trey is the author of the applauded XOGENASYS graphic novel and the upcoming works GRIMMOIRE, Hallow Fable, and Azure Epoch—each exploring new worlds filled with wonder, darkness, and discovery.

Beyond writing, Trey has worked as an editor and proofreader in comics and other creative fields, always striving to bring innovation and authenticity to his projects. He lives in South Florida with his wife, Marion, where he continues to craft fresh adventures that bridge imagination and heart.
