Hey legends! As the dragons of the new year hatch, shake out their wings, and take to the skies, our community is set to buzz with all sorts of new and exciting things.

Keep reading here for 3 new things we’re doing this year!

1. First, we launched a free tier for any writer anywhere to get in, check out our community, and explore LegendFiction.

2. Second, we’re going to be coming back with more writing retreats and workshops from our amazing mentors, and new friends we made at LegendHaven.

3. Lastly, all this stuff about ‘faith-inspired fiction’ keeps sending people into my DM’s, with really rich, private conversations. So we’re turning that into something special.

One of the first tweaks we made is a new logo, and a more sleek and epic feel.

Why? Because we keep making more friends in the fiction writing space, and everyone is trying to look cool and classical - quills, lithographs, paintings…

We’re tryna be the cutting edge of ludicrous epicness. Which means bigger, bolder, and maybe… funner. Who knows? What do you think?

We also noticed that plenty of people out there like us are on social media, Discord, or other groups. We plan to collab with them this year! They’re amazing, and you should check them out - Fable Hive, Catholic Writer’s Guild, Inkwells and Anvils…

Not everyone wants the tech or the vibe of these other places. And they definitely love what we’re putting down in LegendFiction.

And that’s why we launched:

1: A free new member tier!

The prime goal of LegendFiction is to help legends connect so that they create more fiction. So we’ve decided to make it massively easier for writers anywhere to check us out, get a feel for our community, and create their profiles.

Starting today, any author who’s curious about our community can join us right now, see our announcements, leave comments, join their houses, and register for our public events!

When they’re ready to get access to more - our private story-sharing groups, community showcase, live chat, and all the exciting niche groups - then they need to start a membership. Which is like… $5 per month, with a 30 day free trial.

Plenty of new members can join us, hang out with our public events, ask questions, and make friends!

2: Friends and workshops

We had such fun with the writing workshops last year! Some of our members haven’t stopped singing the praises of our amazing mentors - Katy, Amelia, and Katelin. They shared paid and free events to help writers level up.

Some authors discovered whole new genres that they’re now passionate about.

So we’re definitely getting back to those workshops, and adding more. We’ve made a bunch of new friends, especially after LegendHaven 2023, and are adding more!

Stay tuned for free and low-fee workshops and writing retreats that you can join this year. Meet other authors, share your works in progress, and have fun!

Plus, we’ve launched a new, daily writing session for our paid members. Now you can join a daily writing cohort at 6am ET, and 9am ET. And you can also join weekend hangouts!

3: Founders Fireside with Dominic
