Character Convos with Elizabeth Dugan | Free Online Author Meetup!
Fri, May 10, 10:00am - 10:30am EDT
Character creation and development is crucial to the writing! At the heart of every good story is a well crafted character.
As both a reader and writer, if I don’t form a connection to the characters, then I can’t care about the plot. I write heavily character driven stories and I adore brainstorming characters with other writers.
Getting into a psychological profile of a character is one of the most exciting parts of the writing process. Join me for a friendly Character Convo session, where we’ll talk about psychology, temperaments, personality types like MBTI, as well as what it takes to keep a character consistent and lifelike.
Please join us to talk about creating great characters!
Bring as much detail as you'd like for your character.
Every will get a chance to ask questions and brainstorm together.
Expect to have the spotlight for 5 minutes at a time to allow everyone a chance to talk.

About Your Host
Elizabeth Ann Dugan is an Catholic author with Italian and Cajun heritage. She lives in South Louisiana with her husband and children. They live an idyllic life in the old Cajun style in the historic town they call home. She has a passion for psychology and character analysis and using her background in theatre arts delves thoroughly into the minds of her characters. Her main focus as an author is character-driven stories, regardless of genre.
Besides writing, she’s a linguistics enthusiast, cinephile, and general nerd who spends too much of her year planning for Halloween.
